Welcome the New Year in festive style

Would you like to end the year in good company without having to organise everything yourself? Hotel AM Fang is also transformed into a welcoming festive setting for New Year’s Eve.

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast, explore the surrounding area or unwind in the swimming pool and sauna. In the evening, a festive dinner buffet awaits, while live music provides an enjoyable soundtrack to the final evening of the year.

Later in the evening, we serve a selection of hot and cold snacks. At midnight, we raise a glass of sparkling wine together. On New Year’s Day, you can enjoy a leisurely morning followed by an extensive New Year’s brunch.

Winter excursions in the surrounding area

Hotel AM Fang is on the edge of Bad Laasphe, surrounded by the rolling hills of the Wittgenstein hills. Expansive forests, charming half-timbered towns and winter scenery make the area a wonderful destination for an outing during the festive season.

Hiking through the winter landscape

Put on your hiking boots and enjoy the peace and fresh air. Around Bad Laasphe, you’ll find a variety of short and long hiking trails through forests, over hills and past beautiful viewpoints. For example, hike the Lahn-Facette Entenberg trail or explore a section of the famous Rothaarsteig. When it snows, the area becomes a picturesque winter wonderland.

Discover historic Bad Laasphe

The historic centre of Bad Laasphe is about a ten-minute walk from the hotel. Stroll past the half-timbered houses, explore the atmospheric lanes and enjoy the view of Schloss Wittgenstein. During the dark winter months, the illuminated facades and cosy streets make a lovely setting for a relaxing walk.

Winter fun in the Sauerland

When there is enough snow, you can cross-country ski, sled and downhill ski in the region. Hesselbach ski area is about a ten-minute drive from the hotel. The winter sports facilities around Winterberg are also within easy reach. Winter activities depend on the weather and snow conditions, so please ask at reception during your stay for the latest information.
